Staying current
How Comegame app updates work
Because Comegame is distributed as an APK rather than through the Play Store, updates do
not arrive automatically in the background. That trade-off is what allows new builds to
reach players the same day they are released, but it does mean you should know how the
update path works.
Three ways a new build reaches you
-
In-app prompt. When you open the app and a newer build exists, Comegame
usually offers to update. Accepting downloads and installs the new package over the top
of your existing one — your account and settings are preserved.
-
Version check. Every Comegame new APK release bumps
the version shown in your account settings — a quick way to confirm you are running the
Comegame latest app build.
-
Fresh download. Returning to the official link and downloading again
always gives you the current version. Install it directly over the existing app.
Should you uninstall before updating?
Normally no — installing over the top preserves your login. The one exception is the "App
not installed" error described above, which is usually resolved by removing the old build
first. If you do uninstall, make sure you remember your registered mobile number and
password, since you will need them to sign back in.
A note on unofficial builds
Modified or "unlocked" versions of gaming APKs circulate widely and are the most common
way phones in this category get compromised. There is no legitimate modified build of
the Comegame app. If a download promises unlimited credits or a cracked version, it is
not the real application — avoid it.
